NBExif II* F b ( 1 . 2 i The primary school Escola Primaria C. Julius Nyerere in Beira has 14 classrooms, but only 2 of them can be used after structures collapsed and roofs were blown off by cyclone Idai. The school has around 4 000 pupils, but only children from the higher classes (7-8) are having lessons again. The teachers have no idea when the facilities are fit for the return of younger pupils (this said in early April). The school’s chief of administration says that temporary structures like tents would be of great help. The rains also destroyed textbooks, pencils, chalk and other school material, as well as records of learners’ performances in school. Some of the soaked papers have been left out to dry in the sun, but most is lost. A total of 13 202 classrooms were destroyed by the cyclone and floods, and 90 000 pupils are out of school. , , Adobe Photoshop Camera Raw 11.2.1 (Macintosh) 2019:04:12 15:05:37 0230 f n ( v I H H Adobe d s !1AQa"q2B#R3b$r%C4Scs5D'6Tdt& EFVU(eufv7GWgw8HXhx)9IYiy*:JZjz m !1AQa"q2#BRbr3$4CS%cs5DT &6E'dtU7()euFVfvGWgw8HXhx9IYiy*:JZjz ? ȭ"4olgjVZ]eY2Ur$~swʦ5)d:ioTJzZS&I\+n ʥ$Qvmqh~*d~2LLw6YD7K R*8 qJ.qoiK?Pf-r\25jP~V WD4B4,Xb[aVs+BLdcj4i#?geo"uŜ'#1GU
